Abiiba Howell

The native Chicago filmmaker was the publicist for Mr. T until he was discovered for Rocky III. At the time, she owned a limousine service and was a full time night student at Northwestern University. Her first limo booking was the Rolling Stones and O'Jay's Chicago tour stop. Abiiba's career was launched years later as a film and television Makeup Artist before her rise to writer, producer and director, working on Chicago, Texas and Hollywood film and television projects. After launching Dominion Films in 1997 to develop and produce her own screenplay and television projects, she began collecting accolades along the way. Her company specializes in the production of independent movies, TV programming, documentaries, commercials and music videos, Abiiba is an award-winning Makeup Artist, an accomplished Director, Casting Director and Producer who also coordinates and manages projects when not teaching her signature Getting Into the Movies workshops to newcomers.
