Rob Hurtt has lived most of his life in London and Manchester. After playing bass guitar in a punk band, he graduated into acting and had a role in the cult English horror film 'The 13th Sign' (2000). Hurtt then threw himself into writing and directing several well-received short films, including 'Come Outside' (2005), 'WAVE' (2007), 'Soho Sunset' (2009), 'Mr and Mrs Love' (2011), 'I Remember April' (2011), 'A Kiss So Warm and Tender' (2013) and 'The Lock Keeper' (2019). These have been screened all over the UK, Europe, Japan, Canada and the United States. After a painful divorce and a house fire-which he was lucky to survive-he spent some time recovering in Berlin. He is now settled in West London, where he's working on screenplays for feature films and TV.
