Marabina Jaimes is a powerful presence in all areas of entertainment. Best known as "Mara", the Emmy Award Winning Host of "Storytime!" on PBS, with guests such as Ellen Degeneres, Glynn Turman, Angela Basset, Edward James Olmos, and Ruben Blades to name a few. She has participated in dozens of Emmy, Oscar, and Imagen Award Nominated/Winning projects. Marabina (pronounced Mara-Vina) has built a career as a stand out performer on Stage, Television, and Film. She is also a consummate Bilingual Voice Over Artist, specializing in Animation, Narration, Vocal Performance Replacement, and Singing. Marabina Jaimes' voice was recognized in Spanish every week as Mary Alice Young on ABC's "Desperate Housewives", which lead to her being on camera as the main subject of "Now En Espanol", a groundbreaking documentary by Andrea Meller on the trials and tribulations of Latina Actresses in Hollywood.
