Award winner David Janollari established production company David Janollari Entertainment in 2013. Janollari is responsible for developing and producing some of the most popular and critically acclaimed series of the last two decades, including "Six Feet Under" and "Friends." David Janollari Entertainment produced the supernatural drama "Midnight, Texas", based on best-selling novels by Charlaine Harris (author of the books that became "True Blood"), and "Bluff City Law" starring Jimmy Smits for NBC. As head of programming at MTV, he spearheaded scripted hit shows "Teen Wolf" and "Awkward" among others. As President of The WB Network, he launched long-running hit "Supernatural" and "Beauty and the Geek" from producer Ashton Kutcher. Janollari helmed the Greenblatt Janollari Studio with producing partner Robert Greenblatt, and produced several successful series, including "Six Feet Under," the acclaimed drama that won multiple Emmy Awards, the 2001 Golden Globe for Best Drama Series and the George Foster Peabody Award, among many others. Additionally, Janollari and Greenblatt received Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations for the acclaimed PBS miniseries "American Family," created by filmmaker Gregory Nava, as well as the CBS miniseries "Elvis," for which Jonathan Rhys Meyers won the Golden Globe. Janollari and Greenblatt also executive produced the UPN comedies "Eve," starring music superstar Eve; "The Hughleys," starring comedian D.L. Hughley; and "One on One" under their independent banner. Janollari's executive stint with Warner Bros. Television as head of comedy development yielded the groundbreaking hit series "Friends," as well as the long-running series "Hanging with Mr. Cooper," "The Drew Carey Show," "Living Single," "Suddenly Susan," "The Jamie Foxx Show" and "The Wayans Bros." Janollari is a graduate of New York University, where he majored in film and television, and is a native of West Warwick, R.I.
