Donald Jarman

Getting his start as a stage actor in his late teens, Donald was the resident 'angry young man' at the Freight House Rep, Step Sister to the Seattle Rep at that time.He moved to LA in his early twenties to train at the American Academy and soon discovered that he liked telling stories and creating worlds good deal more than acting in those belonging to someone else. Donald has written, directed, tended bar, framed houses, held just about every other day job known to man, and discovered that there is nothing like writing on his laptop at an outdoor coffee shop under an umbrella in the rain. Donald wrote and directed a horror film while living in China, had a short film screen at Cannes, and corrupted both of his children, one of whom recently graduated from film production program at Tisch at NYU and the other, his eleven-year-old sister who wants to be a rock star/movie producer and rehearses her own plays with props at every recess. Donald also recently wrote, directed and produced a web series pilot and is shopping it to production companies with plans to be in production under someone else's banner by early summer.
