Sheri Johnson

In 2016, she founded Strong Voices TV Network, a subscription-based television network that represents LGBTQ+ community, its allies, and advocates. After the runaway success of her series StudvilleTV that had a whopping 100,000 subscribers in 39 countries and has gotten 5 million views on Youtube, she was faced with a shift in policies, regulations, and declining ad revenue from YouTube that she and other LGBTQ+ creators allege systematically discriminated against their content. It is also notable and commendable that Ms. Johnson is working on all these projects on a seventh grade teacher's salary.
