Mór Jókai was born on February 18, 1825 in Komárom, Kingdom of Hungary, Austrian Empire [now Komarno, Slovakia]. He was a writer, known for The Gypsy Baron (1927), The Gipsy Baron (1975) and Souboj s Bohem (1921). He was married to Bella Nagy and Róza Laborfalvi. He died on May 5, 1904 in Budapest, Austria-Hungary [now Hungary].
