Born on Long Island. He attended Hofstra University. His breakthrough came in 1996 when the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences invited him to screen his feature documentary, It'll Have Blinking Eyes and a Moving Mouth (1993), in its Contemporary Documentary Series alongside Oscar winners and nominees. Other prestigious venues for his work have included The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Hamptons International Film Festival and American Film Institute's Los Angeles Film Festival. As a screenwriter, he has developed projects at Fogwood Films, headed by Sally Field, and Renee Missel Productions.
