Milt Kamen was born on March 5, 1921 in Hurleyville, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Cade's County (1971), Mannix (1967) and Mother, Jugs & Speed (1976). He was a symphony french horn player and used to make the brass section laugh. He wrote for Cid Caesar's Your Show of Shows (1950) with Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner and was Cid Caesar's stand in when Cid wanted to see how a sketch was going. Mel once told him, "Milt, don't be too funny." He spent time with Groucho Marx. Most of his career was in New York City and surrounding areas. He was known to many taxi drivers who might be heard yelling "Hey Milt" out their windows as they drove by. He later moved to Los Angeles and worked there and in Las Vegas. He married Margot Bankoff April 8, 1969 in New York City until his death on February 24, 1977 in Beverly Hills, California, USA. His comedy album "Here's Milt Kamen" (Capitol Records) was produced by Mel Brooks with the rear cover liner written by Groucho Marx.
