Kakii Keenan

Mary Kathleen Keenan was born on July 11, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio. She was the second child of 'Roy Keenan' (biochemist) and 'Jeanine Atwood Keenan' (poet/artist). Her older sister 'Kristin Keenan', only 11 months older than her, couldn't say Kathleen, only Kakii and the name stuck. Kakii and her family moved many times (from Columbus, Ohio to Boston, Ohio to Madison, Wisconsin and on) but ended up outside of San Antonio in a house her parents built. After high school, Kakii moved to Austin and became her sister's roommate. The house she moved into was a few away from her future husband, 'Clancy John Mullen'. She attended UT to get a bachelor's degree in art. She married Clancy and on December 9th, 1987, gave birth to daughter 'Colleen Jessica Mullen', and then on July 15th, 1991, had daughter 'Tracy Kathleen Keenan'. She went back to UT and took a film class from Steve Mims. Later she worked on the film The Perfect Specimen (1999) with him, plus several commercials for companies such as Relax the Back, Schlotsky's Deli, and Cookie Bouquet.
