Margot Keune

A former mannequin, she competed at the Miss Holland contest in the 1970s. She acted in two films and was also a journalist for a glossy magazine. She interviewed famous people like Monica Vitti, Roman Polanski, Brigitte Bardot, Natasja Kinski and Jerry Kosinski. She also worked for a television company. When she was 26, she suffered a stroke, which left her almost completely paralyzed. After a long stay in a Dutch hospital, she learned to speak again, although speaking will always be difficult for her. Later, she became a painter. Later tragedy struck again, when her boyfriend Geert de Bruin died of cancer. He was 42.
