Firdaus Kharas

Since 1995, Firdaus Kharas has been involved in producing Genie-winning films, top-rated television series and a variety of educational and entertainment animation series. Firdaus uses his broad and unique knowledge of the world to produce films, TV programs and animation. Almost all his programs involve either an international co-production between Canada and other countries or are on the topics of interest to him, like AIDS in Africa to Asian cuisine to children's rights. His media content work is closely related to his previous work. Firdaus is a member of both the film and the television divisions of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. He is a frequent speaker and commentator at international conferences on the media and information technology, particularly on international co-productions in the film, TV and animation businesses and on the protection of countries' cultures. He is based in Ottawa, Canada.
