She lost her virginity at age 17. Maria first met her future husband Mickey G. while working in the administration department at a local hospital. She began her career in the adult entertainment industry at age 27 in 1994 performing in amateur porn videos with Mickey G.. Under the stage name Missy, she soon became quite popular and was briefly a contract girl for Wicked Pictures.
