Shannon Kennedy, aka Ella More, a stunningly beautiful Irish-born veteran of Europe's stage and screen, was born in Western Ireland, in County Mayo and moved to Dublin when she was in grade school. Starting at age 4, Shannon received sound musical training in piano and voice from her aunt, the all-Ireland singer in Dublin. Shannon began her career as a photographic model and immediately became the top photographic model in Ireland in both television and billboard commercials. Shannon's credits include an album recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra as well as performances at top venues throughout the world in such places as Monte Carlo, Helsinki, Singapore and Minich. She has played for royalty, including the Persian Royal family; was Katherine Hepburn's Lady-In-Waiting in the film The Lion in Winter (1968); twice was a finalist in the Eurovision song contest, finishing second to an unknown group at the time called "Abba". As her popularity grew in Ireland and England as both a singer and an actress, the European beauty recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra on EMI Records. As her fame as a musician spread, Shannon assembled her own traveling performance band and, for several years, traveled throughout Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East and the Far East, performing in fifteen countries - Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Germany, Belgium, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Iran, Singapore, the Emirates and Bahrian. Shannon appeared frequently on television including the BBC Television's "Summertime Special" and "The Best Of Pop" on Singapore Television. These appearances lead to Shannon starring on her own television show, "Bilaterial" for BRT Belgium. She left the hard-earned reputation as "Top Society Singer In London", headlining on the Queen Elizabeth II to fulfill a dream...establishing a recording career in the United States. Instead, she married a Dallas attorney, recorded an album of love songs and sang locally in north Texas for several years, including concerts with RCA recording artist, John Gary. Eventually she moved back home to Ireland for three years and is currently living in L.A. (2003)
