Rodney Moss was an American actor born in New Jersey, USA. His only acting role was in two small comical scenes from Robert Altman's cult film The Long Goodbye (1973) where Moss acts alongside Elliott Gould (playing detective Philip Marlowe). Gould's character comes to a supermarket where he's trying to find a special food for his demanding cat and he asks the clerk, played by Moss, if the special brand is available. While the supermarket clerk isn't much helpful with the detective's demands, they'll have a more amusing contact a couple of nights later when one of them is exiting the jail while the other is dropping by and they recognize each other. Sadly, Moss left us too soon at age 20 on February 7, 1973. The movie was released a few months after his death.
