Originally from the Boston area, Rob Munstis attended Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1997. Eventually, the production crew for the film Thirteen Days (2000) held auditions for cadets from the Academy to act as extras while filming in Newport Harbor. Rob made the cut and was soon after granted a speaking part which eventually became Rob's "15 minutes of fame." It actually resulted in two lines and less than 1 minute of fame, but Rob will always be grateful for the opportunity.
