J.K. Nanda was born in 1904 in Bham, Punjab, British India [now Pakistan]. He was a director and writer, known for Mirza Ghalib (1954), Parwana (1947) and Dhake Ki Malmal (1956). He died in 1983 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.
