Screenwriter Phil O'Shea is based in London and works in the UK, US, Germany, and France, where he also has a home. Phil wrote and co-directed the feature film Vampire Diary (winner best film Milan International Film Festival and three other major awards). Phil also wrote the horror film Spirit Trap starring Billie Piper and Luke Mably, and the European thriller The Harpist. Phil's writing for television includes Dark Knight, Oscar Charlie, Wycliffe, Dream Team, Risk, Yellowthread Street and Chuggington. Phil's stage-play Playing For England was performed at the Kings Head Theatre. Phil O'Shea wrote and directed The Crane for the British Film Institute which was Jude Law's first film. Phil O'Shea won the UKFC £10,000 screenwriting award for his script Air Guitar. Phil O'Shea is a sought after lecturer on screenwriting and has lectured at many film schools and international conferences. He speaks German and French.
