David O'Hara was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, raised in Phoenix, Arizona and Long Beach, California. At the age of 27, he became one of the top track & field coaches in the US. Coaching three Olympians, they won two bronze medals, and one set the world record in the women's javelin. Retiring from coaching at 29, David took up acting, appearing in a number of movies and television shows. David was nominated for Best Actor for 0930 at the LA Film Fest. 20015 and Best Supporting Actor for Go Out In Violet Waters at the San Diego Film Fest. 20016. O'Hara's screenplays have won Best One Hour Teleplay for Murphy at the Houston World Fest. 2004 and Best Dark Comedy for Peabody, Nevada at Telluride 2005
