Sherrie Overton

Sherrie Overton was born Sarah Jane Overton in Towanda, Pennsylvania, and attended the Children's Professional School at New York before venturing to Hollywood. In 1940 she married US Naval officer William Schlacks and the couple had a son and daughter. She accompanied him to his postings around the world, giving up her acting career.
