Jerry Macaluso

Jerry Macaluso entered the field of special effects at the age of 17, assisting special effects artist Norman Cabrera on the set of "Scarecrows." A year later, Macaluso went on to become the youngest-ever effects supervisor on a multi-million dollar film: "The Unholy." Shortly thereafter, Macaluso went on to work on the two "Toxic Avenger" sequels. Several movies and years later, Macaluso formed SOTA F/X with partner Roy Knyrim, in 1993. In addition to special & visual effects, Macaluso has sculpted figures for several prominent toy lines and has plans for his own toy company.
