Dharan Mandrayar

Dharan grew up in India amongst a family of entertainers. His late uncle Sivaji Ganesan was one of India's leading actors and starred in over 300 films while his father Shan was a leading producer. Together they started Sivaji Films in 1956 and eventually Sivaji Productions in 1968. While in college, Dharan officially started working for the parent company, Sivaji Productions, in the mid 70's as a production assistant and worked his way up. His involvement in all aspects of production took him on locations all over Europe and Asia. In 1982 Dharan came to America to pursue a Masters degree. He attended Pepperdine University and graduated with an MBA. Dharan has been actively involved in the production of over 20 motion pictures and a couple of episodic television programs. He has written and directed 2 award winning feature films. He is in pre-production on his third feature COMMISSIONED to be shot in Sri Lanka/India in 2020.
