Bobby Mardis - B. Story Pictures - DGA/WGA/SAG/AFTRA Bobby Mardis, a native of Hammond Indiana, is a product of UCLA and USC. He is both a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), as well as the Writers Guild of America (WGA). After meeting Robert Townsend on the stand-up comedy circuit, he was hired to act in "Hollywood Shuffle" "Five Heartbeats," and HBO's Robert's Townsend's "Partners in Crime" along with Keenen Ivory Wayan's "I'm Gonna get You Sucka." As a Filmmaker, He wrote and directed Showtime Network "Why Colors?" which starred notables like Regina King, Ice-T, Barry White, Anne Marie Johnson and a number of his "Robert Townsend's Partner's in Crime". He produced and directed "Circle of Pain" for Showtime, which starred the Emmy Award winning actor, Glynn Turman. This award-winning film also featured Anna Marie Horsford, T'Keyah Crystal Keymah, Todd Bridges, and was the last film performance of the late Rosalind Cash. He went on to produce and direct the straight to video feature, "One Last Time" starring "In Living Color" and "The Cosby Show," T'Keyah Crystal Keymah. He has directed multi-camera comedy concerts that include, "Against All Odds" starring TK Kirkland for Image Entertainment; a gospel comedy called "Shout," featuring Mark Christopher Lawrence and the uproarious "I Got Problems" for Avatar Productions. His film, "Midnight Blue" for BET was the highest rated film in the Arabesque's series of movies. Bobby just completed editing four shows for the HBCUGo TVNetwork and is now in Atlanta making it happen.
