Owen Marsh

Owen Marsh was born and raised in the Hollywood film industry. His father was Oliver T. Marsh, cinematographer and his mother a studio mood music violinist from the silent days. Aunts included Mildred and Mae Marsh, both actreses. Small acting rolls as a child, the service(1950-52), 7years (1952-59)in the film labs then on to production as an assistant cameraman. A 7 year (1963-70)stint in the Special visual effects dept. at MGM then back on production untill retierment in 1990. Various jobs as a director of photography but mostly operating cameraman for the last 20 years of his carrer. Married to Evelyn Hadlock (1950) Currently lives in Oregon
