Claudio Masin is an actor, director and screenwriter. He was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina), in 1958. After making his debut as an actor in 1977 in two Argentine Telenovelas, he moved to Italy in 1980, where his career had a boost. There he worked, in fact, in many successful TV series like " La Piovra IV", as well as in international movies, along with actors such as Tom Conti, Edward James Olmos, Fernando Rey, Giancarlo Giannini, Lauren Hutton, Fernando Rey, Rossano Brazzi, Capucine, Franco Nero, Elizabeth Hurley, Tony Lo Bianco, Pamela Villoresi and International Directors like Robert M. Young, Sidney Hayers, L.Gordon Clark, and Pasquale Squittieri. His career as director starts in 1997 when, after many years of experience as an actor, he challenges himself by directing his first feature film, entitled "Soft Air": a low budget movie that has been nominated at the David Di Donatello Awards for the best screenplay, and has been screened at the Cannes Film Festival as well. In 2010 he works as first assistant director and actor (playing the role of General Merlo) to the production of Claudio Fracasso's movie "Le Ultime 56 ore", and later on, in 2013, also in F.Rizzo's movie "The Mafia's book keeper" (playing the role of FBI Chief). Today he is working on the development of various international film projects.
