Brigid McBride

Brigid McBride was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Colorado College and graduated with a B.A. in theatre arts before pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles. She parlayed her experience running track in college - then competitively for Santa Monica Track Club - into acting roles that required athletic abilities. Brigid ventured into casting when a stock photographer for whom she modeled asked her to begin assembling elite athletes for sports photo shoots. Her casting career evolved from producing and casting stock, to casting "real people", to casting major print campaigns and full-scale national commercials. Known for her fluency in both commercial and print casting, Brigid insists on providing hands-on client care, attention to detail, an eye for interesting faces and performances, a delight in the human condition, and a positive attitude. She is a perfectionist and loves to get it right the first time. McBride Casting was founded in 1997. Initially, the company focused on sports and real people castings for both print and commercials. However, their work quickly expanded to genres including beauty, lifestyle, comedy, kids, drama, promos, the Hispanic market, and independent films. Brigid lives in Venice with her husband and their two boys.
