Michael P. May

Michael May was born in 1962. He is a fourth generation member of the film industry. His father is legendary Key Grip "Chainsaw" Tommy May. His Uncle Harry May was a well known Director of Photography, and his Cousin Bradford is a Producer/Director. Michael's education in the film industry began when he was very young. His first visit to a set was when his father was working on the classic TV show "Get Smart". Throughout the years Michael worked on film sets with his father in various capacities, Actor, stuntman, props, grip, and ultimately as a cameraman. In the past six years Michael has been the "A" Camera Steadicam Operator and 2nd unit cameraman on such shows as "Felicity", "The Agency", "CSI: Miami", "North Shore", "JAG", "Inconceivable", and "Commander in Chief". He is married with three children, and daughter Michelle is an actress.
