Michael T. McNerney

Growing up in Chicago and Phoenix, Michael began his entertainment industry career in radio in the '70's. More than a decade later, he co-founded a recording studio in the Bay Area, transitioning to video and film production, first as a sound mixer, then camera operator and DP for commercials and country music videos. A graduate of the DGA Trainee Program, his work as an Assistant Director and Producer has taken him from Los Angeles and Chicago to San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Western Michigan and Austin. As a screenwriter, Michael pens in a variety of genres including period drama, action-adventure, thriller, coming of age and romantic comedy. At present, Michael is in pre production with a dramatic period film has an action/rom-com TV pilot in development. Michael has recently ventured into songwriting with his wife, Donna Marie Covert, a seasoned singer and musician. When he has downtime, Michael enjoys nature photography, playing guitar and is learning to play drums.
