Louise Messenger

Louise Messenger is a singer/actress. As a regular on the Adelaide band scene, Louise first came to national prominence as a finalist on the hit TV show "Popstars". She went on to become a regular on Channel 10's Good News Week, performed at the 2000 Logie Awards, then returned to Adelaide where she has since completed a bachelor's degree in Music Education (Majoring in Jazz Voice) at the Elder Conservatorium. She performs now with a variety of bands and ensembles including "The Louise Messenger Quartet" "The Incredibles" "The Mike Stewart Big Band" "For your Love" (60's British Invasion Show) "The Boswell Project" and "Ding! Productions". Louise has written and produced a show about Doris Day called "Sentimental Journey - The Music of Doris Day" that successfully sold out its 2013 Fringe season, along with "The Boswell Project" and received excellent reviews. Louise has performed both in Australia and internationally, making appearances in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. She was a cast member at "Night Train Theatre Restaurant", played Caiphas in the 2010 production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society and has appeared on television in countless commercials. Louise also lends her voice to the airwaves, recording jingles and voice-overs when she gets a chance.
