Scott Millaney

Scott began his career in Island Records in London, where he became Managing Director of Blue Mountain Films Ltd, a subsidiary that produced live concerts and music video clips of Island artists and licensed labels. In 1979, Scott founded MGMM Ltd, a ground-breaking production company specializing in music videos. MGMM (producer Scott Millaney, and directors Brian Grant, David Mallet and Russell Malcahy) has produced over 1500 Music Videos, 60 hours of TV, dozens of commercials and 8 feature films including the award winning cult film 'Sid and Nancy'. MGMM was the most successful music video production company of the 80's, with offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. Collaborating with some of the biggest superstars in the world, such as Elton John, Queen, David Bowie and Tina Turner, MGMM truly are the 'godfathers of music video'. Today, a new team of producers, directors and writers have come together to create original entertainment through live events, music films and documentaries. Scott's aim is to proudly continue the legacy created by MGMM Productions during the golden years of Music Video.
