Marcela Rubiales

The daughter of announcer and presenter Paco Malgesto and singer and actress Flor Silvestre, Marcela Rubiales Jiménez followed in her famous parents' footsteps and became one of Mexico's best-loved entertainers. Inheritor of her mother's beauty and talent, she was given her first role in the telenovela La venganza (1977). In the early 1980s, she began recording albums for EMI Capitol and released many hits, including "Cariño de mi cariño", "Terroncito azucarado", and "Échale un quinto al piano".
