Nadja K. Rutkowski, born and raised in Berlin, Germany, moved to Cape Cod, MA with her parents, Dr. Marian and Franziska Rutkowski, in 1991. Her older siblings, brother Nicolai and sister Michaela, stayed behind in Germany. After finishing high school on the Cape, she attended Marist College in up-state NY for a Tennis Division I scholarship. However, she found her way to the city of her dreams - New York City - and earned a BA with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. That's when and where she realized her dream and passion - to direct and produce. One of the first projects after graduation was a NYU Graduate thesis short film entitled Slo-Mo (2001) (now award-winning), which she's very proud to be part of. Nadja is looking forward to more successful projects in the future, as well as her directorial debut.
