George Sanders grew up in South Dakota and began making films at age ten. He subsequently went on to study filmmaking and acting at The California Institute of the Arts, South Methodist University, and New York University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Upon graduation, he went into the music business and fronted a rock band in the 80s. He and Cher once got tangled up with each other at a party when George's nubby coat got caught on Cher's pad-lock dress. Things like that happened all the time, so George eventually left the rock and roll music business and began singing in piano bars. George has won several awards for his comedy and singing from the Cabaret/Piano Bar community in New York City. He and his partner, Shawn Curran, invented a sock-puppet that came out of George's pants and sings. The puppet, Sneaky Snake, became very popular at the club. Sneaky demanded he star in films. Whilst on international tours with their singing and comedy act, the pair write and shoot short films using the exotic locations. Their film, "Sneaky Snake: Lost in the Holy Land" has won sixteen first-place awards internationally, including one for "Integral Realization," whatever that means. George also writes feature-length scripts with Shawn. They have won several awards for their screenplays from major competition and film festivals, including The ReelHeart International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. George and Shawn live in the prostitution area of the West Village in New York City.
