Frankie Anne has been a performer since the age of 12. As a teenage girl, Frankie began her music production and vocal recording career in New York City with various acts on Atlantic Records and several Indi labels. As a successful teen pop artist, she gained national TV and radio appearances and the opening act on tour the for the #1 Billboard charted CnC Music Factory. In addition to her acting credits, she later established credits as Producer/Director/Choreographer. Behind the scenes, Frankie Anne's has used her talent as an actress, singer and dancer as a Private Performance Coach for various celebrity clients including Nicole Richie, Shannon Elizabeth. Her sassy and comedic Los Angeles stage production of Frankie's Gypsy Roses(2003-2007) opened doors for Frankie Anne to Produce & Choreograph the Showtime series Live Nude Comedy(2008-09), a comedy/dance variety show hosted by Shannon Elizabeth. Due to Frankie Anne's successful teenage years as a recording artist, coupled with her portrayal as Janis Joplin on Television and tour with Joplin's original band Big Brother and The Holding Company, Frankie was introduced to Joplin's friend Robert Altman. This former Rolling Stone Magazine Chief Photo Journalist is now the focus of her Directorial Documentary "Robert Altman - Through The Lens", a passionate look into the music and counter culture times of the late 60s - 70's. Frankie Anne collaborated with television, stage and screen star Ed Begley Jr. on his 2007 production of Cesar and Ruben. She is credited for creating the Musical Staging and Choreography which vibrantly tells the life story of Cesar Chavez. This work gained Frankie Anne great acclaim by the press. Additionally she is credited in a lead role for performances as Helen Chavez. Additionally she is the producer/director of The Confetti Kids - a children's audio book series narrated by Robert Guillaume. Singing and stage performance credits include Barbara Streisand's "Timeless" concert, National Broadway Productions of West Side Story (Anita) and Smokey Joes Cafe (Brenda), lead vocalist for the Joplin retro rock famed Big Brother And The Holding Company and more. Her acting in a TV movie portraying Janis Joplin guided her into a job as additional credits include various studio sessions, jingles and recording acts. On stage Frankie is the noted producer and actress (Capt. Martha O'Neil) for the award-winning Los Angeles stage production of The Vietnam Chronicles and she brought to life the fiery LuLu Louise in the urban musical Twisted (Ovation Award nominated). On night club stages around town with her All Star Band, Frankie Anne has been dubbed in the press as the Jam Queen. Her choreography credits span commercials, music videos, industrial projects and more including; Lady Foot Locker, Warner Bros. Cats & Dogs, Scooby Doo, See Spot Run, AMFAR (Madonna hosted benefit) American Express, Toyota, World Hunger Assoc., MetLife and more. Frankie Anne is a creative director/choreographer and visionary in her own right. Her various styles of work include Hip Hop, Jazz , Funk, musical theater, character work, and more. Frankie Anne's passion and work with (Bob) Fosse Styles (of which she offers workshops) has been a strong influence to her works. She also works with children and the inspiring athletes of the Special Olympics and benefits she participates in for Breast Cancer Research.
