Over the last decade Trevor Sands has adapted some of the most acclaimed works of science fiction for the big screen, including the celebrated novels "Hyperion" and "Fall of Hyperion" by Dan Simmons (Warner Bros./Graham King) and "The Six-Billion Dollar Man" (Bob Weinstein/Dimension), among many others. He has sold two original screenplays: His sci-fi spec "Resurrection" sold to Sony with Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment producing. His original screenplay "Clean Break", which sold to Focus Features, made the annual Black List. In 2013 Sands co-wrote and directed the sci-fi thriller "E.T.X.R." for 20th Century Fox, a micro budget "straight to digital" feature released by Netflix. His director's showcase short film "Inside" starring Jeremy Sisto, won awards at numerous film festivals. In 2016 Sands directed, edited, and wrote the Virtual Reality experience "Timeless: Continuum Recon" as a companion piece to the NBC/Sony Pictures Television Timeless TV series.
