Tony Schweikle was born in Chicago. His mother was a first generation Italian, his father a third generation of German decent. He finished two years of graphic arts at Lake County College IL before he dropped out. Tony Schweikle's first job was for Roger Corman, as a location coordinator on the film Avalanche. He then worked as a location scout, followed by location manager. In 1988, he finished prepping the Colorado/New Mexico portion of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He then accepted the position of assistant film commissioner for the state of Colorado. Five years later and burned out with government work, he resigned and hoped to re-enter film production, but quickly found out that he was out of the loop. In 2009, he re-invented himself and started writing feature length scripts, to date he has completed 9. One of his scripts, Hybrids, was produced in November of 2013, starring Paul Sorvino and Carolyn Hennesy. Completed and in distribution. The trailer can be seen on Amazon. In 2018 he wrote and directed Rum & Hot Peppers/AKA "Sacrificial." This trailer can also be seen on Amazon. Several other scripts have won in competition.
