Rodney Scot has been a media professional for over twenty-five years in film, television and commercial photography. Born in Dayton Ohio, he grew up traveling the country with his mother moving from state to state. Rodney moved to Conroe, Texas where his mother sold real estate and it became home for the remainder of his education in 1982. After high school, he would be offered a full scholarship for vocal performance to attend college in East Texas. His next stop was Dallas Texas where Rodney would begin his career in film and television starting in 1991. He worked on numerous productions filmed in the Dallas area and was heavily involved as an actor and casting director.In September of 1999, he was asked to host and co-producer the long running Christian-themed travel television series Discovery Jones Expeditions (2000). It was based in Charlotte, North Carolina, but filmed on location around the world as its ministry. It completed one hundred and fifty episodes and won three awards for best family inspirational television program. In 2010, Rodney turned his passion for photography into a full service production company based out of Charlotte North Carolina. Within the first twelve months, he was honored with awards for his contributions in commercial and advertising photography. In his free time you will most likely find him volunteering for different animal compassion events, promoting plant-based vegan nutrition, skydiving or supporting his wife as she competes in triathlon events around the country. He is married to Ironman triathlete and fitness trainer Diane Stoner. Diane is the owner of Goal Fitness Charlotte providing fitness training and nutrition counseling to clients throughout the Carolinas. Rodney and Diane were married in Charleston, South Carolina in 2003.
