Janelle Paradee was born in New London, Minnesota, April, 11, 1963. Her mother was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force and her father was an Aeronautical Engineer with NASA. At the young age of 11, Janelle was accepted at the Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis, where she first learned about theatre and the arts. She performed in her first play as one of the children in, "A Christmas Carol". Numerous plays and musicals were to follow both at the infamous Guthrie Theatre as well as the "CTC". Accomplished at the classical piano and after many recitals later, Janelle found herself working for Elite Modeling agency in Chicago, Illinois, where they kept offering her contracts that were hard to turn down. Happily, though, she was able to settle into Los Angeles, California to finally return to the career she loved so much. She joined the Playhouse West Theatre group and School where she practiced her craft of Misner and performed in "Welcome Home Soldier" for three years straight. After finding an agency to represent her, she found herself guest-starring on one sit-com after the other. Meg on Friends (1994), Nancy on Everybody Loves Raymond (1996), Sarah in Norm (1999), Rachael on Something So Right (1996), just to name a few. Janelle can also be seen in a few Movies of the week, the latest being The David Cassidy Story (2000).
