Michael was born in Loogootee, Indiana in 1956. His family moved several times and eventually ended up in Milwaukee Wisconsin. While attending school at the University of Wisconsin he was offered his first Equity job with the Milwaukee Repatory. After relocating to New York, Michael spent several years doing regional theatre across the country and eventually landing jobs Off-Broadway in shows such as Cobb, playing the title role of Ty Cobb and in David Rabe's Streamers at the Roundabout Theatre. His work in film and television is highlighted by working with such directors as David Auborn, Ben Younger, Ridley Scott, and Errol Morris. It has also afforded him the opportunity to see much of the world having travelled to over 40 countries outside the United States. Michael currently resides part time in New York and part time in Salta, Argentina. Michael has also finished his first novel The Blue Pill.
