Suzanne Petri has produced, directed and appeared on dozens of Chicago stages including The Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Artemisia, Chicago Dramatists, Victory Gardens and Northlight Theatre. She has appeared in many Bernie Sahlins productions including Poetry as Comedy, Meet Mr. Yeats, The Waste Land, Under Milk Wood, The Cure at Troy and Lysistrata for the Poetry Foundation. A proud ensemble member of American Blues Theater, she recently appeared in the Jeff Award winning Hank Williams: Lost Highway, Waiting for Lefty, Tobacco Road, The People's Temple, Kid-Simple, The Hairy Ape, Two Rooms, A Lie of the Mind, The Threepenny Opera and Oklahoma! As a cabaret artist, she appeared at Millennium Park's Jay Pritzker Pavilion in "A Tribute To Marlene Dietrich: The Actress, The Music, The Desire," and receives raves for her many musical concoctions. Suzanne and her husband Bob Breuler (SuzBo Entertainment. Inc.) brought their highly acclaimed homage to Noël Coward, "A Little Touch of Coward in the Night", to NYC and presented "Duo; 1 is One, 2 is Math", SuzBo's original play with music (duothemusical.com), at Steppenwolf's Late Night at Garage Rep.They performed their newest Cabaret show "Torch. Sass, and Swing" at Steppenwolf's 1700 Theater.
