Dermott Petty

Dermott Petty is a filmmaker and playwright. He made the feature film "Manband!" a mockumentry on Boysbands, Ageism, and Bad Dancing. He was a recipient of a grant from the Irish Film Board for his script, "The Prodigal Dancer." He made the short films "Waits (In) Love?, "Jesus of Limerick" and "Paddy Takes A Meeting" which have played at the Clones Film Festival, , the Galway Film Fleadh, the Moscow Short Film Festival. He wrote the play 'Time Travel & The Leaving Cert' which was performed by the Limerick Youth Theatre and' Body of Water' which was performed as part of Culture night.
