Victoria Peterson

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Victoria Anne Theresa Peterson was born on January 11, 1958 in Northridge, Los Angeles, California. She attended the University of California as an English major. In 1981, Victoria co-founded the hugely popular and successful all-female rock band, The Bangles, along with Susanna Hoffs, her younger sister Debbi Peterson, and original bassist Annette Zilinskas. After The Bangles broke up in 1989, Peterson formed the duo "The Psycho Sisters" with fellow singer/songwriter/musician Susan Cowsill. "The Psycho Sisters" were a well-received attraction at various Los Angeles clubs in the early 90s but, alas, only recorded a single 45. Moreover, "The Psycho Sisters" are featured as backing singers on the albums "Fluorescent" by Steve Wynn and "Center of the Universe" by "Giant Sand".
