Dave Pierce

Current Emmy-award holder Dave Pierce's scores were most recently heard in the Opening, Medals and Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, which were viewed by a world-wide television audience of over 3.5 billion people. Pierce's unprecedented work garnered him the 2010 Emmy award for Outstanding Musical Direction. Pierce has also orchestrated music for Andrew Lloyd Webber's Concert Tour and Jesus Christ Superstar Gospel; Broadway's Come Fly With Me, a celebration of Frank Sinatra's music and dance under the direction of legendary Twyla Tharp; and in 2005, Pierce was commissioned to compose a new work for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Pierce recently reunited with the Come Fly Away creative team for Sinatra Dance With Me, which opens at Wynn Las Vegas in December 2010. Pierce is an alumnus of the Berkelee College of Music in Boston.
