Brian Pollack is an American comedy writer who has written and produced thousands of hours of broadcast television. He began his career in game shows, writing jokes for the Hollywood squares. In the 1980's he teamed up with Mert Rich and spent over 20 years together writing for various shows which include, Cheers, The Simpsons, Sledgehammer, Roc, and many others.
