Bert Pot is a Dutch cinematographer known for his work in feature films and television series. He was born and raised in The Netherlands. He studied still photography before attending The Netherlands Film and Television Academy. Throughout his career, he has been involved in several notable projects, including such movies as Zusje, Van God Los, Bumperkleef, and Piece of my Heart. He has also served as the director of photography for several television series such as Dunya en Desie, Hollands Hoop, and The Spectacular. Pot has received recognition for his skill and talent, including the Golden Calf Award for best cinematography at the Netherlands Film Festival for his work on the film Phileine zegt Sorry. In the film Bumperkleef, he used rear projection technique to create the illusion of a car driving through different landscapes, adding to the film's overall impact. He used this technique to shoot the stunts in the film, which allowed the actors to be in a safe environment and add to the realism of the film.
