Eric Rivas Quiroga

Born in Buenos Aires Argentina and moved to Brooklyn at age 9. He became a gang leader of East Second Possie and battled for street territory. He was saved by a Home Theater Designer, TDA - when he started to work for him alphabetizing his 3000 laser disc collection. He saw talent in Eric and suggested he read Stanislavsky. Eric watched tons of films and realized this is what he wanted. He has studied at HB Studios, Lee Strasberg, William Esper Studios, Actors Studio - (Elizabeth Kemp) and with Olinda Turturro. He also played a mob fence in the Fox Searchlight Feature _Whiteboys (1999)_ - with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Danny Hoch. He has worked with the Ensemble Studio Theatre in Bleeker Street Comics with Ron Stetson. Also in the Sanford Meisner Theater with Kyle Schickner. He has been filmed by Coppola on his On the Road casting call. He has had a story written about his pathway into film with the subject being fame - 'Desperately Seeking Pacino' for Harpers Magazine. His career came to a sad end when he was pronounced dead in Spain on an alterain vehicle. There are speculations as to if these reports were correct. But family has blocked a full investigation for belief that it was mob related. Rest in Peace. Another actor who has disappeared into the night as James Dean did. He will be remembered for his smile, charm and lust for life.
