Born in 1951. Graduated with Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) in 1973, and awarded AE & CI Research Fellowship. In 1979 graduated from University College London with BA Philosophy (Hons). Focus Films was incorporated in 1982, a UK independent producer of feature films and programs for television. Since 1995 Focus Films has concentrated on feature films resulting in _Crimetime 1996_ (directed by George Sluizer), Secret Society (2000) (directed by Imogen Kimmel), _Julie's Spirit (2001)_ (directed by Bettina Wilhelm), Formula 51 (2001) (directed by Ronny Yu), The Book of Eve (2002) (directed by Claude Fournier), The Bone Snatcher (2003) (directed by Jason Wulfsohn), Chemical Wedding (2008) (directed by Julian Doyle), Triomf (2008) (directed by Michael Raeburn), Surviving Evil (2009) (directed by Terence Daw), The Fourth Kind (2009) (directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi), 'Master Harold' ... And the Boys (2010) (directed by Lonny Price). Other credits include Woman of Tu-Ban 1993 (documentary), Diary of a Sane Man 1989 (Independent Film and Video, Channel 4), Othello (1989) (critically acclaimed TV drama, directed by Janet Suzman and starring John Kani, Joanna Weinberg, Richard Haddon Haines and Dorothy Gould), Euripides' Movies 1987 (short), Via Namibia 1985(documentary with original music by Hugh Masekela), Mnemosyne 1985 (short), Kolmanskop 1982/3 (feature).
