Born in London in 1938 and educated at Oxford University. Entered industry in 1961 and joined CMA (now ICM Partners) in 1966. In 1972 became head of production MGM (Europe) and produced The Terrorists (1974) with Sean Connery in 1975. Relocated to USA in 1978 and in 1980, rejoined ICM Partners as executive vice-president and head of international department. In 1996 re-entered production. He has lectured at many film schools, given seminars etc. etc. And he has broadcast with Jim Svejda a number of indecently eccentric programs of classical music. In 2013, resettled in Puerto Rico where he is active in the television and film industry.
