Philipp has started developing playing skills on the drums first. At the age of 5, and during a concert his mother took him to in a former Munich jazz club, he met his boyhood idol - the tremendously great and well known drummer Mr. Art Blakey, who sat the boy up to his drum set during the concerts pause. Philipp from than on was given the chance to express his insatiable urge for rhythm and music in his hometown Munich, where he was born, and still loves to live. When he visited Wolfgang Petersen's feature film 'Die unendliche Geschichte' (1984) the author-director Mr. Philip Groening casted the young boy at the exit of this movie for his international screened, award winning feature film (Sommer) which is about an autistic boy (lead) and his father's attempt to break into the son's mental ghetto (where the boy lives as a matter of his illness.) Philipp today is a studied actor taught in classical theatre- and modern media plays and runs self-managed.
