Buichi was a Japanese manga (comic) artist. He was born on March 30, 1955 in a city named Asahikawa, located on Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. He traveled to Tokyo in 1976, where he received his manga education by the late, great Osamu Tezuka, the "God of Manga". Among Terasawa's manga works are: "Space Cobra", and "Raven Tengu Kabuto". "Space Cobra" spawned both a TV series and a feature-length movie in 1982. "Kabuto" was animated onto an OAV (direct to video) release in 1992.
